Cross Country Team Finishes Strong
at State Meet
Congratulations
to Doug Moore, Arash Darbandi, Billy Fayette, Alex Orton, Kyle Henshaw,
Jordan Weed and Andrew Silk who all ran a great race at the Boys
AAA Cross Country State meet in Peoria this past Saturday! Despite
upper 30 degree temperatures and 19 mile/hour winds, several Red
Devil runners had PR times!
This was the first state appearance for the team since 1997 and
a goal the team set out to meet at the beginning of the season.
It was an amazing experience for runners and families alike. The
race featured over two-hundred runners from across the state and
thousands of spectators cheering them on. Let's do it again next
year! (11/10/08)
