Hornet/Red Devil
Invitational @ KLM, Hinsdale Saturday, Sept. 5
Go east on 55th Street to County Line Rd. Turn right (south) and go about ¾ of a mile to the Katherine Legge Memorial Park entrance at the south end of the park, on the east side of County Line Rd. Park in lot on west end of park and walk to the course start/ finish area on the east side of the park. Peoria Woodruff Invitational @ Detweiler Park, Peoria Saturday, Sept. 12 Take I-55 south to I-80. Take 80 west to Route 29 (exit says Hennepin/ to Peoria). Stay on 29 south. Once past the town of Chillicothe, begin watching for Detweiler Park on the right side. The IIlinois River will be on your left. Detweiler Park is located on the northern edge of Peoria on Route 29. Dual Meet vs. LT @ LT South Campus Thursday, Sept. 17 Go east on 55th Street to Willow Springs Road. Turn left (north) and go to the LT South Campus, which will be just before 47th Street. Turn into the parking lot at the last (northernmost) entrance and go to the back of the school. The course is on school grounds west of the school, just south of the tennis courts. Tri Meet vs. York, Proviso West @ East End Park, Elmhurst Thursday, Sept. 24 Take Route 83 north to North Avenue. Turn right and go east to Berteau Avenue (this is just before you reach the overpass at I-294). Turn right on Berteau and go to Third Street. Go left on Third and this will take you right to the park. This is York’s home course. Palatine Invitational @ Deer Grove East Forest Preserve Saturday, Sept. 26 Take I-355/53 north. Continue on 53 past Woodfield and exit west on Dundee Road. Go approximately two miles (1/4 mile west of Hicks road) and you will see the entrance for Deer Grove East Forest Preserve on your right. This is Palatine High School’s home course. Dual Meet vs. DGN @ Green Valley Forest Preserve Thursday, Oct. 1 Take 63rd Street west. 63rd will angle southwest and turn into Hobson Road. Take Hobson to Green Road (just past Route 53; there will be a barn on the corner) and turn left. Go about ¼ mile and turn left into the Green Valley Preserve parking lot. This is DGN’s home course. Wheaton North Classic @ Northside Park, Wheaton Saturday, Oct. 3 Take I-88 west to Naperville Road north. Go north on Naperville Road to Roosevelt Road. Turn left and go west on Roosevelt Road to Main Street. Turn right and take Main Street north to Harrison Street. Turn left and go west on Harrison to West Street. Turn right on West Street and travel north to Northside Park. West Street dead ends at the park. Tri Meet vs. OPRF, Glenbard West @ KLM Thursday, Oct. 8 See directions for Hornet/Red Devil Invitational on September 6. WSC Conference Meet @ Glenbard West Saturday, Oct. 17 The meet is at Camera Park in Glendale Heights. Directions: Take I-355 north to the North Avenue exit. Go west to Bloomingdale Road. Turn right (north) and go to Fullerton. Turn left (west) and go about π mile. Camera Park is on your left.
